Our monthly lunch with Karin and George was held Saturday, February 25, 2017, at The Little Tuna, 141 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, NJ 08033 (856-795-0888). Since it was unseasonably warm for February (70+!), Haddonfield was quite busy with shoppers, but we didn't need a reservation for lunch.
We had a wonderful time, as usual.
It was nice seeing our server, Kai, again, as he is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant.
Appetizers shared:
BBQ Bacon Wrapped Jumbo Shrimp - HUGE! Tasty sauce...
Flash Fried Calamari, cooked to perfection - so tender...
Indian Rock Oysters (Virginia)
After a short break, we enjoyed more apps:
Shrimp cocktail
More oysters
The cocktail sauce for both was wonderful - so full of fresh horseradish!
Salad came with the lunch entrees; everything was so fresh.
Entrees:
Ken and George & Karin (who shared theirs) enjoyed the Honey JalapeƱo Sea Scollops, stuffed with crab meat. Very flavorful and spicy. Came with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies (carrots and broccoli).
Jay was satisfied with the Spinach Salad (candied nuts, crumbled blue choose, granny smith apples, sundried cranberries, tossed in a pomegranate vinaigrette), topped with Rosemary and Ginger Sea Scallops. Tasty and filling.

Since Jay and Ken like to eat at BYOBs, we decided to create this blog to keep track of where we've been and what we like.

We had a wonderful time!
The bread, although not warm, was quite tasty. A nice spread accompanied it.

Chargrilled Octopus, with garbanzo, morcilla, eggplant, fresno chili, and packed egg vinaigrette...

Ginger Asian Cuisines
Love this place! Ken took Jay out to dinner on Saturday, February 11, 2017, to Ginger Asian Cuisines, 7 Wilkins Station Road, Medford, NJ 08055 (609-953-7888). It was packed! We had to wait about 20 minutes, because we didn't make reservations, but we got a booth!
Once again, we had an enjoyable evening, and weren't rushed, even with the crowd...
Fried noodles - with hot mustard and duck sauce
These come with the meal (your choice):
Spring Roll
Hot & Sour Soup
Appetizers:
BBQ Ribs - these are always grilled to perfection, and the sauce is quite tasty!
Fried dumplings - very good!
Entrees:
Ken enjoyed the Rock 'N Roll Pork - grilled pork, marinated in a special lemon grass sauce, served with vermicelli (rice noodle), asparagus, and homemade fish sauce on the side. The salad and asparagus went home for Jay.
Jay enjoyed the Ocean Treasure - shrimp, scallops, clams, white fish, and lobster tail. Served with Thai basil white wine sauce. It was so flavorful, she ate it as a soup. Yum!
Mochi ice cream came with the special - we got 2! Jay took them home and enjoyed later in the evening.
You always get fresh fruit with your check...

Instead of white or brown rice, we ordered the House Special fried rice (extra cost), most of which went home for another meal.
